Medieval bestiary tradition

Themes & interpretation: Healing in bestiary legend
A white bird in medieval legend reveals the fate of a sick person. If it looks at the patient, recovery is possible; it takes away the illness and flies towards the sun. Turning away foretells death. This is a medieval story, not medical advice.
